        12 Week NASCAR  Championship Series Schedule

Friday Nights – January 13, 2012 to March 26, 2012

Practice – 6:30 p.m.

First Heat Race- 7:30 p.m.

 3 min. heats, to qualify for “C”, “B” Mains & 15 Min. Main Event              

 Jr. & Sr. Divisions

Race Fee

Adults $5.00

 Age 12 and under $3.00

 

Sealed 16D or sealed Super 16D  motors must be used for the 6 following events. Jan. 27,  Feb. 3,  Feb. 24, Mar. 2, Mar. 23, and Mar. 30.

For all other events either Group 12 or sealed Super 16D motors may be used.

 

                         “Froggie 500 Night” April 6, 2012 

“Froggie 500” qualifiers this year will be determined by the 2012 point standings.

 

                                  

                        Weekly NASCAR Series Race Format

Drivers will compete in two single lane 3 min. qualifying heats. First heat is drawn out of a hat.  Second  heat is determined by current point standings.

Mains are determined by heat race results. Finishing position and laps are used to determine a ranking for the Mains.

"A" Main will consist of six 2 and 1/2 minute segments.

''B" Main will consist of six 1 and 1/2 minute segments.

"C", “D” & “E” Mains will consist of a 3 min. segment on a  single lanes.

1st and 2nd position in each main will move up to the next main.

"JR" ”A” Main will consist of six 1 minute segments..

“JR” “B” Main will consist of a 3 min. race on one lane.
